Greetings from Tennessee! I may only be 24, but I have been drinking tea for as long as I can remember. I grew up in Upstate New York and moved to Tennessee about a year ago. Everyone down here drinks tea, but it is almost exclusively cold, heavily sweetened, and Lipton!

I am currently introducing as many people as possible to the world of opportunity that tea has to offer and starting them off on their own personal tea journeys. However, with something as complex as tea, I find I need the guidance of fellow tea drinkers who have had more and/or different experiences. I have been following many threads on this site for a while and am happy to finally become a member.
For the record, I haven't come across many teas that I haven't been able to at least appreciate, but I am really quite into Greens and Oolongs. I am currently enjoying a nice Dragonwell from my favorite Yixing (see my avatar).

Welcome from a neighbor in KY. I'm about 1.5 hrs north of Nashville, not too far from Clarksville. Glad to have another redneck to keep me company here.

***This organic blend is earthy & spicy, with a fragrant aroma & smooth flavor to captivate the senses. Naturally sweetened in the Kentucky sunshine & infused with natural energy. Equally delicious when served piping hot or crisply chilled.***

So you are the one who took my place. I am convinced that there is some sort of karmic exchange program going on. So, do you own an Ithica is Gorges shirt yet?

Great to know someone is close. I am actually planning a trip to Louisville to meet with a friend who also drinks a lot of tea. I don't know when the next one will be, but I throw a mean tea party. I will keep you in the loop in case you ever want to come down for one.
