Anyone had this ? I just bought 2 boxes of Tick tock Organic green rooi and one red (also tick tock)
The green is perhaps (????) worst effected - it brews a deep ugly brown and tastes very bad and muddy - upon opening the tea bags the rooi looks broken (in a decayed way) and pink-grey-brown
The red brews really really dirty - we brewed a single bag (instead of 2) in a pot and it was still extremely dark and far too strong aside from the fact it was horrid muddy and plain wrong anyhow - opening a bag the rooi is less wrecked than the green but looks very flat and dried out and an odd colour
I took it back to the shop and got my money back - I have got a box of 11 o clock and this stuffs fine - which is good but green rooi isn't very available so I am just gonna have to live without green for a while and hope the next batch is ok
I am guessing a load of decaying plant matter has got through - Am I unlucky or anyone else had it - never had a problem like this before in 21yrs of Rooi drinking
