Vac pots

Regarding using a syphon coffee maker for tea.

There are several filter types depending on the brand: a simple glass rod, a piece of cloth wrapped around something with a metal chain hanging down, a simple hard ceramic disk shaped like a checkers game playing piece.

Are any of these types not good for reinfusion?

In other words after using it, you would seperate the top globe from the lower and stand the top in a holder. The bottom half becomes the teapot. The top half still holds the tea leafs or coffee grounds.

With coffee, at this point you remove the filter and grounds from the top half for cleaning.

But for tea, at this point is there a problem a couple hours later reassembling the syphon for rebrewing with the same leaf, depending on the filter type your syphon has to use?

Thanks!

SweetMarias.com, a very knowledgeable coffee supply company located in California, may be able to provide advice for tea but I really don't know. Try posting an inquiry at their website.
