I am about ordering from them a "ceramic travel tea set" and maybe some tea from them. Did anyone try their green teas?

They were OK, not bad, but stay away from the low end ones, bleh.

I felt they were not a good value tbh. But I had samples sent to me by them in clear cellophane, probably not as fresh as a result.

The travel sets are nice, I have 4 different ones, falling in love with them at first site at the Expo. They are tiny! Which one are you considering?

I've been looking at their stuff, too. I am curious, but something about the site is keeping me from getting my hopes up. Maybe its that they show you pictures of the container and not the tea itself. I get cautious when I feel someone is trying to sell me on the packaging.

Well their oolong is from Taiwan, so ....

But they have nice teaware. We'll all give you a full report when the LA group goes there next month.

OK, the first one is larger and might hold 3.5 ounces. I find this to be very functional and nice as well. I like the indentations.

The second is the smallest of all of them, the pot holding just over 2 ounces. I put 2 ounces of water in, and it really fills the cup on the pour which holds less than 2 ounces (the leaves usually absorb enough water to allow a complete pour into the cup). The green crackle glaze is very nice, but it is a tiny pot and tinier cup.

I use them mainly for gyokuro ... well, so far exclusively for gyokuro.

Both will allow just a little leaf to pour into the cup, but that is fine with me for gyokuro anyway.
