Adagio green tea
I received a new Brown Betty teapot for Christmas and I am currently plowing through my Adagio black tea sampler. I love this tea but I want to experiment with oolong and green teas but most people have their own places for getting their green tea fix. I just want to a bunch of small samples, each large enough to make a few pots of tea (not those tiny pouches with one cup's worth of tea), and I was wondering if anyone has any expeience with Adagio's green or oolong teas.

Hi and welcome! Adagio has some nice oolongs, especially for those just starting out.
The sample sizes should will work for you, depending on your pot size. I'd advise to stay away from the flavored ones and well as the packaged sampler. Try the AliShan and the #18 #40 and the Wuyi ensemble. That will give you a nice feel for light and darker oolongs.

I definitely vote for Adagio samplers. I actually bought the regular and savant versions of the sample packs for all Adagio's varieties. I agree with Victoria, unless you adore flavored teas, I'd go for the unflavored as it will give you a better idea of what varieties of tea you really prefer. Flavored is flavored... has its place but is not helpful in refining your palate.
I'm in favor of getting a really wide variety of samples, because individuals have such varied taste preferences... it's hard for someone else to tell you which ones to try. For example, I like Oolong #8 better than Oolong #40. I like Pouchong and TKY very well, and certainly Ali Shan. I think Oooh Darjeeling is to die for. And I think Oolong #40 and Wuyi are pretty good, but not my favorites. I loved trying all the varieties of blacks, whites, and greens as well. I never expected to enjoy white teas so much, and I was surprised to learn that Chinese greens are not my favorite at all.
Enjoy and let us know what you discover!

***This organic blend is earthy & spicy, with a fragrant aroma & smooth flavor to captivate the senses. Naturally sweetened in the Kentucky sunshine & infused with natural energy. Equally delicious when served piping hot or crisply chilled.***
Careful!
One bad thing about ordering the Adagio samplers is that they are a Gateway Drug to other teas. I tried the green savant sampler and oolong samplers...which I liked...especially the Greens. It led me to other sites that specialize in Chinese and greens teas and now I am hundereds of dollars poorer because of the unusual flavors you taste in the unflavored greens....toastiness, crustacean, herby, vegetal....just be careful!
