Lovely kyusu you have there, Nick. I love hagi ware, even if I don't own any of my own!

Relaxing with a cup of Assam Orangajuli from SpecialTeas. It smells a bit fruity-floral and tastes a bit like honey. Suits me just fine for a cheap black.

I think I have given back a fair bit in my time here on TeaChat.

I am having a good tea day. I received both of my first two tea orders of the year. I just finished with a sample of Gyokuro Suimei from dens, my fisrt. Now on to the houji kuki. My love affair with this stuff may be over.

In a day of meditation on this topic, I have come to the conclusion that relative newcomers give a lot by asking questions that make the old timers feel like big shots.

I try to offer help on the simpler things when I can, but I'm still very much in the learning phase myself. Ask me about childbirth.
