Ceramic only since porcelain lined yixing clay cools too fast?

In some other thread here recently, someone complained that the porcelain tends to crack and deteriorate because it has a different expansion rate under heat than the ceramic has. Additionally, for some of us (me included) the combination is unappealing from an aesthetic point of view.
