Funny, but I didn't find childbirth that bad.

"Root canals, childbirth, injecting dyes, oh my" ...

Hope you are feeling better, Geeber.
Gyokuro Kame fromO-Cha was very nice. I will have some SLY for the rest of the evening. I am thinking Mugi/Genmai as well. A slow start to the TeaDay, but finishing very well.

No rhyme or reason. My schedule changes so much that it's hard to get a rhythm going with my tea. Although lately I've been addicted to Japanese green tea. Yutaka Midori is amazing.

No rhyme or reason for the end of my day tea either. I had my first taste of matcha today. I liked it but my technique definitely needs some refining.

Isn't it though? That's what's in my cup right now
I tend to end the day with something herbal or rooibos so I'm not up all night. I also go for the dessert type teas with vanilla, chocolate, or something similar. But when I go all day without my green I have to have it, even if it's almost bedtime. Hence me drinking some right now.

Interesting question!! I guess it depends on what time I have my last tea. My last tea tonight was tazo zen, around 8:00pm. If I have tea close to the time I go to sleep, it's usually foxtrot or vanilla honeybush/rooibos.

...as does mine!
Wesli is one of the matcha experts...see if he can help you further. Here are some tips I recall:
Make sure you use a sifter, which helps avoid lumps. And to get the froth (I still haven't had luck with that), be sure to wisk in a "W" shape, and wisk a lot. Good luck!

Yeah, they are just the dried flowers from ancient tea trees in Yunnan province. Really pretty different. I got them from Rishi but cannot find them on their site right now.
So, is it a tea? Not a tisane ...
Mugi/genmai homemade in my cup to end a very nice TeaDay.

I was ending my days with a cup of Snowbud, lately with Chamomile though, or just whatever I feel like at the time, heh.
