I said 4-6, but since I am just starting in Oolongs it might get much higher. I buy my black tea locally and I plan to pick my own herbs this fall, so no online vendors there, but the rest needs to come from abroad. I have already done buisness with Yunnan Sourcing (although only for teaware and accessories) and soon I will buy from Dragon Tea House, O-cha and Teaspring.

On second thought, it will might be a lot more than 4-6..

I'm guesstimating 4-6. Certainly more than 3, possibly fewer than 7.

Had a long session with Adagio's White Symphony today.

probably:
Adagio (UK)
Marukyu-koyamaen
Maiko
Zencha
Hankook
+ a good oolong vendor

so a little more than 10

Ujibashi San no Ma sencha in a few minutes.
Hm good call Oliver, forgot about Koyamaen and Kaburagien. I might put in orders to them this year.

4-6 I guess. I'm happy with my current vendors, so want to explore more of their offerings before exploring more vendors.

Had some Earl Grey teabag earlier today at the university, so coming home and make some nice Shui Xian from jingteashop was like going from hell to heaven :p

I'd probably go with 4-6, although I'm sure I'm missing some. If I think about it any harder than I have, I'll want to visit the vendors' sites--just to check, of course--and that way temptation lies!

Currently having some Ippodo matcha.

Baozhong/Pouchong is one of my favorite teas. I find it to have an extremely rich taste, but then I do 5 rather long steps (2, 1, 3, 5, 6 mins).

I said 4-6. The great bulk of my teas come from Upton, Adagio, and Tao of Tea. As I am happy with all of those vendors, I suspect that will continue to be the case in '09. I do go outside of those three for things like pu-erh and certain oolongs. As I've been curious about Japanese greens lately, maybe the spring will see my first order from Dens or O-Cha.

I'm currently finishing up a wonderful Rou Gui from The Tea Gallery.

I went with 4-6 because it seems likely enough.

I've already put in an order from denstea, have plans for an adagio order, will surely hit up teaspring and o-cha, will not likely leave hou de alone all year long, and figure the odds are good that there'll be more.

So I could wind up bleeding over into the 7+ range, but 4-6 seems almost certain.

Nothing great in my cup today because I'm sick (but sick at work this week) and can't taste much.

The TeaDay is winding down, but was great. Fukamushi Supreme from O-Cha earlier was realllly good.

Currently, learning about sencha again. Sometimes I can get tunnel vision about preparation of teas and not listen to the tea and the possibilities it possesses. Sencha Premier from Adagio finally got heard. I brewed it with much less leaf than normal and brewed almost English style. This sencha liked this treatment today, mellower than normal, but sweeter and smoother. Quite nice, I may not like it this way all the time, but it is nice.
blah blah blah SENCHA blah blah blah!!!
