Hello Everyone!
Hello! My name is Sarah and I am new to this site. I received some Adagio products for Christmas and I have been hooked ever since. I've been a tea drinker all my life, probably since before I started elementary school. I've always mainly used tea bags, but I've been brewing loose genmai cha since I was about eight years old. (love it!) I wish I had discovered all the different kinds of loose tea years ago! Anyway, I was hoping someone could recommend some teas for me. I am looking for something very fruity and or flowery in taste. Sweet or tart does not matter; I like both. I've tried the blood orange and love it. The only kind of tea I have not tried yet is white and oolong tea. I definitely want to; I just haven't had the chance yet. Again, if anyone has any spectacular suggestions for a fruity and or flowery tea, that would be great! Thanks, and I look forward to making friends here!

I know you will have fun going through the threads learning about teas! I really can't give you any specifics on your requests as I prefer Japanese greens and they are certainly not fruity and flowery! Enjoy your TeaJourney and come along and share what's in your cup in TeaDay

I think it's about time for you to try some oolong samples.ASUnurse26 wrote: I am looking for something very fruity and or flowery in taste.
Welcome

Thanks for the welcome! I just love it here.
In response to your question, it really doesn't matter to me. I mentioned Blood Orange in my post because it was very fruity and very flavorful and I'd like to try more teas like that. I bought some passionfruit tea with high expectations and it was weaker than I had hoped. (I still love it though) I was thinking along the lines of white peony or the Jasmine oolong; I know those got good reviews. I have a few flavored black teas but the fruitiness (is that even a word? lol) doesn't seem to be enough for me. Should I be trying herbal teas, maybe? I am a fan of anything with berries in it.

Welcome to TeaChat ASUnurse26! I wish I could make some recommendations for you, but my knowledge of teas is rather limited in the fruity/flowery area.
I look forward to seeing the suggestions though! I might even consider trying a few, though I tend to gravitate to straight black teas. I'm not sure if your at all interested in them, however, I've got some samples on the way, some include some of the flavored black teas from Adagio in some fruity flavors ( peach, blackberry, blueberry, and raspberry are among those that I ordered if memory serves.) Anyway..
Once again, Welcome to Teachat!

Hi Sarah, if I come across anything "fruity or flowery" I will be sure to post and let you know. I just came across an old tin one of my children gave me, called Summer Tea. It was tropical and fruity, very nice. I traced it back to Harney and Sons, but they say they only made it for Williams and Sonoma and no longer do so. Dang But...I will ask some of my friends who also like those flavors. Oh wait...I did hear them discussing some Black Currant tea and the consensus was favorable.
ASU! I live in Tempe and go to ASU. If you want to try some samples locally you can try Urban Tea Loft (downtown Chandler). They are very laid back and you can order in any tea they have. If you have any questions about the local scene, hit me up. I am new to the tea scene so I cannot offer that much information but many on here can and they are quite helpful.
