Chile and Lord of the Rings, you forgot to invite me!!!
Thanks, Chip. Yep, mostly eggs &/or meat and fresh veggies. Once I eliminated grains and sugar, life changed for the better.
Oh yeah, hot chile on a snowy day, woodstove going, watching Aragorn take his rightful throne. Open invitation to my TeaChat buds any time you're in the Pikes Peak region.

I usually have the same breakfast every day during the work week, so on the weekend like to have something different. Sometimes, the traditional bacon, eggs, etc., other times less traditional food like this morning: a quesadilla with taco meat, avocado, salsa, and cheese.
Today I enjoyed several steeps of shui xian (courtesy of bubbatea) and later in the afternoon, iced Nilgiri tamil nadu blend.

I enjoy Sunday brunch after church. We all take turns at home making a different part of the meal. Yesterday we had, Cinnamon Baked French Toast Casserole, with fresh sausage and eggs benedict. Yummy, not my usual low carb breakfast, however it was delish!
Then went off to spend an afternoon w/long lost friends from high school. Great day, although my usual consumption of tea was limited to teabags that traveled with me until I got home late last nite
HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!
Have a FAB TeaDay Everyone!

SIX TeaChat members!
Myself, Vulture, wyardley, bearsbearsbears, andy825 & Ti, along with several friends!
We had a great time, you can read about it here:

Plus there should be pictures coming soon!
I went
slightly over my teaware budget, ha!
Currently I am enjoying my new Hwang [Yellow] Tea for Hankook Teas.
Very sweet and mellow.
.
I was watching for a report. Glad everyone had a great time. This would be hard to reproduce on the east coast, no Hankook, etc. Missed seeing the TeaChatters yesterday, but there is something to be said for IRL experience!
Now that you guys are back, be sure to check out the
TC Gaiwan Contest by clicking here. I am sure someone got a gaiwan or two.
Are you telling what kind of hit your yearly(?) teaware budget took?
You will have some idea of the damage after I post to the Teaware forum later tonight!
Glad you all had fun, looking forward to more pictures!

This morning was a bit of crumbled sausage, mushrooms, spinach, cheese, scrambled with 2 eggs. After 3 decades of usually not eating breakfast, last January I starting eating breakfast every day. Breakfast has become a major component of my weight loss (82 pounds so far, by the way).
I'm coordinator for our church's Children's Sunday School (160 elementary kids) so I'm at church on Sundays 8-1. Since adding that position to my job a few months ago, having lunch with friends after church is pretty impossible (church gets out at hour before I leave). So today I had friends over for a big pot of chili and Lord of the Rings.
Congrats on your continuing weight loss! It is very interesting that breakfast has contributed to your success.

Wow, that is soooo great DOK

I believe that the fact that your breakfasts are a high protein, low carb variety especially helps! None of the sugar lows and cravings after abt 2 hours of breakfast. Keep up the great work, I bet you feel fantastic and look it too
Hey me too on the chile and LOT, ya gotta know I would come

I sometimes do a Sunday brunch; wither cooking it myself or going out. And sometimes not.
I really need to be make a multiple choice answer on this one, just one answer doesn't apply.
