Browser hang time

by Victoria » Jan 27th, '09, 18:22

Today I had a post "hang" for a long time and not go through, yet I never got the usual service unavailable message. I thought the site was down, maybe it was? I did not even know it did go though because the message that was returned was from the Adagio system saying "No post mode specified". Then multiple, multiple pages began opening - at least 20, maybe 30?

I was wondering if anyone else has had this happen. And yes it's IE.
(I know, I know)

It happened to me all the time when I used IE, especially with Teachat for some reason. So I had to change to Firefox because I grew tired of it.

It hasn't happened to me (finger crossed! don't hope to see it when tea chatting in office :P )

But it happened for a few times when the server didn't respond for a long time, and then tried an hour later, everything went all right. If I ever posted something twice, it was because of this. I use pc in office and mac at home, both had this problem before. So I guess it was due to a busy server.
