Hello everyone,
Lately I have been getting into a lot of free leaf teas and I am trying to make the best tea I can with it. I get my tea leaves from Tevana which provides steeping times and temperatures for each of their teas. I was just wondering if anyone could tell me if I should try to maintain the recommended temperature over the entire steeping time or if the recommended temperature is merely where I should start the process. Thank you.

Hi and welcome! That is the starting temp.
No need to try and keep it constant.
You should only be going about 3mins anyway if you
are brewing English style in a pot.
