Does anyone know the o-cha shipping formula? It looks like it's a factor of # of items and weight. But it would be nice to know the exact formula.

I usually use standard shipping and get my tea in 3-5 days. Pretty fast.
For tea, I think it is $2.25 for the first item and something like an additional 2 for each additional. As you add to your cart. you can usually see shipping cost updated as you add items.
Edit, you beat me to it, Olivier ...

Ah ok, that makes more sense now. I was playing around with the shipping costs with the Hohin and a chawan along with tea, and my numbers were jumping around a bit oddly that it confused me.
Thanks guys

That is a good price on the Hohin and the matching cups too. Maiko is selling the Hohin for 10 bucks more. I am playing with getting it as well.

I was a bit hesitant about the cups, and ended up opting out of them. They're so small that I don't think that I would realistically use them often. 40ml is pretty tiny.
I eagerly await my Hohin though, and ordered some Gyo the Ultimate ala zencha to break it in.

Shhhhhh!!!
The hohin is sleek and very contemporary. I would use it mainly for smaller gyokuro batches ... or smaller than normal sencha batches as well.

Hehe, i'm getting mine for gyokuro primarily. It's almost the same size as my primary kyusu. I don't pimp my kyusu enough though. It's a lovely little 5-6oz one. I'd highly recommend it if anyone's looking for a smallish one.
