inginuiTEA 2.0 Cleaning Question
So I have owned both versions of the inginuiTEA now and this new version is so so so so much easier to clean, but when I put it in the dishwasher after taking the lid off and removing the infuser, food particles get caught in all sorts of werid seemingly unreachable places. Does anyone have this same problem when putting it in the dishwasher? Do I have to wash it by hand?
I have heard that there are problems with the infuser getting items stuck in it from people before...I read this before I got my ingenuitea so I have always washed it by hand...it really is not that difficult and then you have it ready to go again whenever you need it.

Whenever the leaves are ready to be dumped out, I just thoroughly rinse out the IngenuiTEA with hot tap water and let it drain upside-down. About once a week, it goes through the dishwasher (top rack). Then I always rinse it out again in case there are unseen soap particles in it (ick...soapy tea!). This seems to get rid of any staining, too.
I haven't had trouble with food in the screen. Maybe because I tilt it about a 45-degree angle on the dishwasher rack (the top shelf of my dishwasher is rather shallow)?? I wonder if I clean my other dishes too well before putting them in there?!
