Much as I like to be contrary, I also have to give my vote to oolong. I actually brewed a pot specifically to check what wet oolong leaves look like, since I don't really have a habit of studying them. Answer: They look good.

So I had Scandinavian-sourced oolong and White Symphony today. But not now. Too late in the day, see.

Another vote for oolong. My teacuppa order finally shipped. Can't wait to try more oolongs :D

I'm on my 3rd steep of chiran sencha. Will try to get at least 1 more in before I head off to work.

Congrats! Not quite a month! ;) The good news is that once it ships, it seems to show up fast.

Chip must have known nobody would vote for it... ? :D

As much as I enjoy pu-erh... I can't say I've seen that many visually attractive post-brewed pu-erhs.

I would like to blame Chamekke for this shortcoming, but cannot. A little late for it now, I guess. Sorry about that one.

Den's Shin Ryoku ealrlier, then O-Cha Uji Teabag while out. About to brew Genmaicha from Den's.

... a great TeaDay!
blah blah blah SENCHA blah blah blah!!!

Just got back from working in the Geology department......still didnt get as far as I wanted to with my current project but now I have a nice cold cup of ice brewed sencha.....2 hours exactly with the ice brew time and I really hit the nail on the head.....the cup is so sweet and silky feeling in the mouth....absolutely wonderful.

You geologists must have rocks in your heads and ice in your veins. Ice brewed sencha in this weather! Image

I agree Sal.....I find it quite odd.....the last time I had some ice brewed tea was the last time we had really cold weather a few weeks ago.....it must trigger something inside me I am not aware of.....BUT if you could taste it, you would partake in the icy goodness!

Wow, a run away win for OOLONGS!
I ended up only having one tea today, very unusual.
Da Wu Ye from Tea Habitat, I drank it in small amount all day long.
It's a lovely tea.
