Nice chawan. Where did you buy it?GeekgirlUnveiled wrote:Never, ever enough space.
In the matcha thread, I mentioned I purchased a new chawan (so what else is new? they are quite the little addiction,) it arrived, and I used it yesterday and today in honor of my new 365 Project - 365 days of paper cranes. This is day 2. wish me luck.
Good luck with you 365 cranes project.
Wow Geek, that chawan is stunning!! I love cranes!
Both on teaware and of paper! I have a small gold one
sitting on my tea tray.

I definatly don't have enough space for tea
Im living with my dad while I go to college nearby and the only kitchen space I get is a tiny cabinet(smallest in the kitchen) thats divided in two spaces. I get the bottom part and people are always just stuffing junk in my space when they don't know where it goes
so I have to clean it out all the time.
Most of my tea is kept under my bed or in my closet. On the positive side my room smells good
Salsero its always a pleasure seeing your pictures. The sunflowers look amazing with that dark background.
Thats a beautiful crane chawan GeekgirlUnveiled and good luck with your 365 days of paper cranes keep us updated.

Sal and GeekGirl take the prettiest pictures...
I don't have enough room for tea. I'm thinking about putting some in the Tupperware cabinet. But I'm not buying any right now anyway, so I guess I'm all right. I'm trying to drink what I have before getting more.
My legs are okay from yesterday's bike ride, although my knees are a bit sore. Not too bad, though. I'm drinking Ceylon Sonata over ice right now. Tasty.

Evening everyone. Just got back from my test. I decided to retake it in a few weeks before my grad school deadline. Math was just fine, verbal..not so much.
Anyway.. as stated before, here is my teacase that is getting crammed with teaware

Right now I'm firing up my zoji so I can try out another dancong.

In my cup this afternoon a green Puerh - Rishi Ancient Green Tuo Cha
Not a typical green tea taste since it is a tuo cha, but it is surprisingly
sweet and mellow.
Chip, I sent you a couple of these, did you ever try them?
They are green after all.

My 365 days of paper cranes is a photo project. One crane/one photo each day for a year. It's on my flickr account.

I started out with one kitchen cupboard shelf. I'm proud to say that my tea ware / tea now inhabits one whole cupboard and is sharing a second with some very nervous glasses. Enough space for now - maybe!.
Mao Feng in my cup this morning from Teaspring. Then some matcha Kaze from Den's this afternoon. I am sure it will be black tea tonight. Something Yunnan.........

Never enough room. The 2 tea-shelves I had built into my hoosier cabinet have overflowed onto a basket that sits on the counter of that cabinet, not to forget a few old biscuit tins filled with various bags in another cupboard plus a big stash at the office.
And the growing number of empty Adagio tins are taking up too much space elsewhere, but I can't make myself throw them away [somebody pay the postage and they're yours!].
And despite my "resolve" not to buy new teas while drinking down some of my stock, well, most of you can imagine how that's gone.
Just last week, a friend who sells for Lets Do Tea was having a sale as she's getting ready to go out of business - I came home with 4 more tins of tea.
Good grief!
Today enjoyed Adagio's Irish Breakfast, then moved on to mango tea on ice.

Sencha Premier from Adagio earlier, and I am liking it more each time I have it. Finished the day with Den's Genmaicha which is still in my cup. Good genmaicha.
About to close the polls ...
blah blah blah SENCHA blah blah blah!!!
