Vanilla Oolong

I tried my first sample of Oolong tea, and frankly I thought it was gross! It tasted like grass with a vanilla after taste. Not my cup of tea! Pun intended.

Ummm ... a little late but, stay away from flavored oolongs.
Not only are they, as you say, but the flavoring masks the taste.

Don't give up on oolongs.

Thanks, Victoria. I'll probably give it another try without steeping it the full 5 minutes. I think it was a little strong for my liking. I tend to lean toward the lighter teas and herbals. Love white tea but hate green tea, and that's kind of what it reminded me of.

I love that teacup in your avatar! Is that yours? If so, where did you get it?

FIVE minutes, yikes! Try 3 max. If that doesn't work,
order UNFLAVORED.

Yes, I own the heart cup, it was very hard to find!!
