There are actually a few different syles of something like what your looking for. There are ones that the strainer comes in and out, and then there are the ones that have the strainer right around the inside of the spout. Also what material are you looking for it to be made from (yixing, glass, etc..)

The Den's kyuusu were made famous in the olden days by El Padre for their quality and value. They have many fans in the TeaChat community.

There are a couple modestly priced pots at YUUKI-CHA (formerly known as The Japanese Green Tea Shop, not to be confused with Japanese Green Tea Shops). Just scroll to the bottom.

O-Cha has a pot for $26.00 and one for $29.00. If you have the patience of Job, you might find some good prices in the Tokoname Yuyaku catalog.

Shipping, of course, is always a consideration and everyone above except Den's ships from Japan. If your main goal is to get a starter kyuusu and get brewing, the Den's pots are excellent choices.

I guess the best deals are usually from ebay (sometimes worst deals are from there too :P)

Besides ebay, among the new teapots that I think lovely, the lowest price I've seen is this one in Japanese green teashop:

I didn't buy this but just think it's nice and inexpensive.

Thanks for all of the reccomendations. They will give me alot to think about. I will check them out to. The prices for these some pretty good. I am also wondering if its not too much trouble would they except money orders?

Because I just dont use a credit card. And the den teapot sounds something up my alley so to speak. Thanks for taking the time to reply to.
