Let's see... I currently live about 1.5 miles from the hospital where my mother gave birth to me... and probably about 4 or 5 miles from the house that was "home" at that time. I've never lived more than 12 miles from that hospital.

It's a smallish town, around 20,000 population... shopping isn't great... one movie theater... lots of fast food and only a small handful of nicer restaurants... nowhere to buy decent tea :( ... terrible place to be single, really hard to meet other singles here...

But, it's home... same employer now for 23 years... my parents, brother, sister, nieces, nephews all live within 10 miles of one another... cost of living is relatively low... it's really beautiful here... quiet, low crime rate, decent place to raise kids if I had any. If home is where the heart is, I think my heart is quite rooted to this place.

Nepal First Flush in my cup...

Sarah

1854.74 miles from Boulder, Co to Long Island. I've lived in the same town for about 26 years or so. I moved to Long Island when I was two.
Hopefully in a year I will be able to say a new town, saving for a house.

I was born a tumbleweed and grew up traveling as the winds of life blew me around.
