My guess would be kuro because it's the most famous of all chawans from what I have seen.
Rikyu selected black and red for the glaze to go with matcha.

Check out hibiki-an is selling some great chawans that are reproductions of historycal pieces, they look nice, but the price is stellar.

I think I have the size of this chawan somewhere at home in one of my books. I will search when I return home tomorrow.
