I have just recently been getting into brewing loose leaf tea. I know that Adagio is one source of high quality loose leaf teas, but I am also looking for other places as well. I have found a few. They are the following:
1) Darlene's Tea Port
2) Steamer Gourmet Loose Teas
3) Ambrosia Teas
4) teazonline
5) Anna Marie's
I was just wondering if anyone out there knows anything about these vendors or if anyone would be able to offer me some insight to the quality of their teas. I have tried tea from Darlene's Tea Port and I think their's is good and I just ordered some from Steamers Gourmet to try. Thanks om advance.

It may be more productive to ask for a particular type of tea as each vendor tends to specialize. I order my blacks from one set of vendors, my chinese green from another, my taiwanese from others, etc.
Do something different, something different will happen. ( Gong Fu Garden )
I would like some recommendations for places to get flavored black teas from. The ones I have tried from adagio have seemed to have very little of the flavor in them, its just too subtle. So I am looking for a place that has flavored black teas that is not so subtle. Thanks in advance. It may be more productive to ask for a particular type of tea as each vendor tends to specialize. I'm fairly new to loose tea as well, but I have discovered two black teas that are anything but lacking in flavor. In the custom blends section of adagio, check out the Capricorn tea. They sent me a free sample with an order earlier this week and it is AMAZING! I believe it is Irish Breakfast tea with vanilla and coconut.
Aside from that, I absolutely love the Earl Grey de la Creme I picked up from dragonwater. I'm also in CT, and waiting the week and a half for shipment from Washington was a bit harsh. But for that tea alone it was well worth the wait
The description at dragonwater is:
A sturdy blend of Assam, Ceylon, and Nilgiri teas flavored with a high quality oil of bergamot and just a hint of vanilla and cream.
I just googled it and apparently it is available at plenty of online suppliers, though I'm not sure if it is the same exact blend or not.
Good luck!
