I'm sorry, it's my first day.

Hey guys, I'm new here :) My name is Mitch, I'm 20, and I friggen love tea!

As my username suggests, I'm from South Jersey. More specifically, a small town you've never heard of unless your a fan of drag racing: Atco. It's probably about 30 minutes outside of Philly, to give you geographical peace of mind.

As of right now, I'm an undergrad studying History and German at the University of Hartford. Next year I'm off to Germany to study abroad. Can't tell you how excited I am to hit up tea houses across Europe!

Though I've been drinking tea regularly for five or so years now, I've just recently gotten into loose tea. Ohhh man, I wish I made the leap years ago! Most of the loose tea I have now I got from dragonwater. I'm especially fond of the Jasmine (Special), White Monkey Paw, and Earl Grey de la Creme. The free sample of the Capricorn blend that Adagio sent me is simply amazing, though. But my ways are hardly set, so I'm open to try any suggestions!

May I ask your intention of studying German?
It is only because I am from Germany and can't think of what this is good for

Heh, as you can tell both of my majors are highly lucrative. I'm aiming to stay in school through Ph. D. for history and become a professor. As for German, I took four years in high school and figured it would be a waste if I didn't follow it through. Since two majors costs the same as one, I figured I'd get my money's worth and come out fluent in German, or at least close to it :)

Sorry to disappoint, I am not the actual Jersey Devil :P But I did grow up in his backyard. I swear I've seen him roaming around a few times =x

Welcome to tea chat and may I suggest you experiment with some of the fine green teas Adagio has to offer. I really like Jasmine No. 12 (I think that's the number), it's their most expensive Jasmine tea, and it looks like little balls. Basically, a green tea leaf is rolled up around a jasmine flower,.... Pure heaven!

And if you like sushi, genmai cha goes really well with it!
