I just happened to stumble upon this forum while googling Liu Bao to try and learn a bit more about this tea. I ended up going to the front page of the forum and being amazed...wow a tea forum with many active posters...messages from today even! I'd never seen such an active forum to talk about tea before! I tend to drive people crazy with how much I talk about tea but I can't help myself it really is one of my passions. So finding tea chat is awesome!
A bit about myself...I'm a 22 year old Canadian girl and I've been collecting tea since I was 19...and drinking it (that awful supermarket stuff) since i was little. I'm mostly into oolong and red tea.

Other things I like are photography, DJing and music production (mainly industrial music), sculpture, history, science and cooking.
Yes, I am a total nerd.

Good to have ya! Seems we have a little bit in common!

I've recently gotten into photography a bit, mainly because of this website! Haha, a lot of the people have really beautiful photographs here and it inspired me! I'm also a huge music guy. I've been playing the bass guitar for about 8.5-9ish years now! I don't do much producing but I do occasionally do some recording with a buddy of mine! I'm also a HUGE cooking person

We'll have to talk sometime!
Aside from personals, everyone is really great here! Very warm and friendly! You'll fit right in! Hope to see you around!

Welcome! I'm sure everyone will make you feel right at home.
And I have a couple of DJ friends myself. What kind of music do you spin specifically?
We were fated to pretend.

Hello and welcome, eh?
Please let us know what's in your cup. I'd love to hear which red teas you especially enjoy!
And a few tea-related photographs won't go amiss, either

My favourite is the 2007 Ying De Gold and I also enjoy Keemun's and golden tipped Yunnan's

Yeah, I think we can relate. My one coworker's fave comment to me whenever I would start talking tea was, "blah blah blah tea blah blah blah."
Welcome to TeaChat and I am looking forward to seeing you around the place. Stop by TeaDay and share what is in your cup!
blah blah blah SENCHA blah blah blah!!!

You are definitely in the right place! I've gotten my mom into tea, but her eyes still glaze over if I start talking about Chinese vs Japanese greens or single estate teas.
