I also sent you a PM Remedial. I just started to get into puerh, received 5 samples from Yunnan Sourcing today :) . So far I have not used a yixing teapot for steeping nor have I tried gong fu brewing (mainly because I don't have the right serving vessels) but I am willing/wanting to learn.

I'm still rather new here, but I would be flattered if I would be allowed to throw my name up in the air for one too, Remedial. I'm rather deprived from ever getting to steep in a real pot (limited to my ingenuitea :lol: )

Cinnamon Kitty wrote:You have great timing on this, Brandon. When we went to the mall on Saturday, I stopped in the Asian store where they had a large glass jar of puerh bings. I didn't get one since I wasn't too sure of the quality and the storage method, but they smelled so good that they definitely made me think about reading the threads in the puerh forum a little more closely to find a few puerhs that would be good to start off with for sampling. I am comfortable with gong fu brewing in a gaiwan though I don't have a gong fu sized Yixing pot yet.
@Cinnamon Kitty:
You wouldn't happen to be talking about T-charm in Shoppingtown would you?
I go to ESF and have checked out that store many times! My favorite cup set is from there.

Have you been to roji? Please tell me you have!

That would most likely be the shop. It is the oriental store right next to the food court in Shoppingtown, though I am not sure of the name. They have all the neat looking tea sets and some loose teas in glass jars on display. Of course I have been to Roji! That place is awesome.
