The big issue I see with them is just that they're a consignment shop. So the pricing and quality of any individual item is determined by the seller. There is no feedback system or even a way to determine which pots come from which sellers.

There are a lot of fake pots out there, and buying any pot (especially an "antique") online is risky -- many collectors won't do it at all.

They do have some nice looking pots, some at good, or at least possibly reasonable, prices, but it's really hard to determine if a pot that's $300 US on there is actually worth that much.

I'm nervous about buying tea from there for the same reasons, plus the issue of storage (especially with Malaysia being so humid). Some folks on here have bought tea from them - check out orguz's posts.

I'm not saying I'd rule it out if I saw a great looking pot at a good price, but so far, haven't been willing to take the plunge.

I took that plunge, what they call tuition fees. If you take Wyardley's advice I say you are a wise man. Wished I knew Wyardley before i bought my pots from them. None of S4T pots are priced low, and worthy of the price. Better shop around, or save up for a trip to Taiwan to site see, and teaware shopping. At least that's one of the things on my to do list.

My whole experience with S4T was disappointing, even their packing of pots sucks. Pm If you want to know the whole story.

My experience with skip4tea.com is ok . Got two teapots from them , they price is reasonable and the packing is a bit poor but my pots are arrived safely. Second pot packing is great.
