Oh no Chemekke!! Yikes, as Chip said, that's two people!!
I think the only way to glue would be to secure with rubber bands.
You may need a cardboard circle cut to fit to help stabilize.

In my cup this morning - Ying De Red, Fall 2008 from Red Circle Tea.
According to Red Circle it's a "hybrid of Feng Huang Dan Chong and
Yunnan big leaf."

Have a nice day everyone!

Will recently suggested something that Imen had luck with.

I'm just using my only undamaged pot...

I'm horribly cursed with teapots I seem to break one every few months...the rest of my teaware is fine. :?

My hope is that the curse won't apply to a gaiwan.

I've just been resteeping this Genmaicha Matcha all day long. It's starting to taste more like a wet paper towel than tea. Might have to switch to something fresh!

Must be a 2008 paper towel cos I hear that the 2009 paper towels taste great as long as you keep the temp down.

Either that, or you haven't been using enough towel.

My vessel that reigns supreme is neither an oldie or a newbie. (Considering I've only been drinking tea a few months) But it is my infuser mug from Rishi in which I brew my black teas. I use it nearly everyday since I replaced my daily coffee with a daily black tea. Sadly I don't have as much time to sit down and use my other pots to brew greens and oolongs. So those pots don't get used as much. I do have a few yixing pots on the way so we shall see!

Chiran sencha supreme right now. I think I actually prefer this one over YM.

O-Cha now says of YM, ``Considered by many connoisseurs to be our finest sencha green tea! '', at least I think that's been newly added.

It's been a slow but tasty tea day. Started with Jing's Imperial Da Hong Pao and enjoyed some O-Cha YM for afternoon tea. I might skip tea tonight!

Good news in case you did not know, Chiran Supreme is also Yutaka Midori breed leaf! So, you are safe for now. Chiran is a famous old samurai town, so you will want to watch what you say about Chiran Supreme.

Ha, I missed that, I think that is new, but I have not read the description for a couple years, just click "buy now." :D

I am still not declaring a favorite newbie since I have too many newbies to choose from  , but it is definitely NOT a golden oldie.

I have yet to share what is in my cup today, however it has been a great TeaDay. Started the day with the very same O-Cha Chiran mentioned above, quite tasty, then Kagoshima from Yuuki-Cha (also YM leaf), and finally Sencha Premier from Adagio, all very enjoyable sessions. SweeTea managed to be right by my side each time so she certainly had a banner TeaDay as well. Pyrit is always close by, but thankfully does not enjoy good tea, TEAh, stuck her head in my empty Hagi cup, but I don't think she is becoming a convert. :D

Don't have a single favorite brewing vessel, but since really most of my brewing vessels have only been mine for a year or less, I'd have to say my fav is a newbie!

This morning I shared a nice pot of Kenilworth Ceylon with my DH. He asked "what's the difference between this and a teabag?" I opened his favorite Lipton teabag and poured the contents on a saucer...I was surprised to see how much tea was in there and how much it is "dust" no wonder you can make a cup of tea that will strip paint with that!

After having lunch out and running a bunch of errands, I made a 2nd steep. Sat outside (unexpectedly sunny and warmish today) and savored the tea and the day!

Tonight I was craving greens...right now in my cup Den's green kukicha. First time for trying this tea...I like it a lot. It brews up a nice clear clean pale green color. It has a light clean refreshing flavor. It is not as intensely flavorful as sencha, but it is about half the price, so I think it is quite a bargain. If you see more posts from me later on you'll know if the caffeine level is high or not!

Happy steeps,
Dreamer
