Re: Official Pu of the day
90s 7581--Taiwan dry storage. This is the tea that made me fall in love with shu all over again, and 7581 bricks in particular. Appears to have lost some aroma due to high humidity in the last few weeks, but should open up again now that the humidity has dropped to 55%. Super smooth and pleasant in a sandy pin zini shuiping.

2015 Zao Qiao Di Village raw from Yunnan Sourcing. Really smooth and solid. Quite drinkable.

Revisiting 2013 Hai Lang Hao "Jun Yan Qi Xiang" Purple Pu'er tea.

Drinking a free mini tuo from Zhong Cha's official vendor on Taobao. They threw in a nice bag full of mediocre mini tuos. They're ok. Relatively clean and smooth drinking. Not something I'd ever buy, though, and I should probably give them away.

YQH Jincha today. I credit this tea as the one that will get me into sheng pu'erh. It is absolutely delicious. I will probably be going in on the YQH group buy again in April, as I'd like to try the Tejipin and possibly another one, depending on my fundage at the time
If anyone else is trying to go in on the YQH group buy too, let me know. If you're in the US I'm trying to find people to split an order with.

Previouly I sipped a very nice one 2013 Hai Lang Hao but it is sold out for quite a while. This one is also quite smooth and aromatic.

Ya, my interest in tea has stayed strong, but my internet interests wandered away from teachat for a while. I'm doing well Shah82, thanks for asking.shah82 wrote:been a while since I last saw you, tenuki, how's it hanging?
In a similar theme, I finally finished off the Dayi 7262 701 that I bought six years ago.

2013 Hai Lang Hao "Jun Yan Qi Xiang" Purple Pu'er tea. Probably one of the nicest young purple pu'er teas I have tasted but unfortunately it is sold out for a while.

Re: Official Pu of the day
2005 Jingmai DianXin. Nice everyday drinking sheng from Chawangshop. I can't find this on their site now, so I guess it's all gone. This has had just the right storage to make it comfortable and easy drinking, even if it doesn't stand out in any way. Good calming cha qi. I definitely know what I like most in pu erh and it is tropical dry storage or light traditional storage. Too dry or too wet really isn't for me!
