That's a lot of tea! I hope UPS has a bigger gram scale than I do!
*Edit, for those who must know such things, that's 6,350 grams.*

Don't know till I hit UPS tomorrow.
It was 14lbs coming this way.
How exciting!
Just a little of a side note I've got this order comming in express from Teacuppa, just placed the order a little bit ago in fact. I suppose of course I'm not the only one who does late night/early morning tea purchases, lol. I'll most likely be adding some of all those teas to the oolong box when it comes my way.

Your Oolong installment loan has been approved! I just did the same last night:
Lady Orchid Oolong Tea - 100 grams (3.53 oz) 1 1 $11.00 $11.00
Aged Tie Guan Yin Oolong Tea - 50 grams (1.76 oz) 1 1 $9.00 $9.00
Jun Shan Yin Zhen White Tea - 50 grams (1.76 oz) 1 1 $10.00 $10.00
I only regularly check my e-mail (more than 2x/wk) when I am expecting tea. DH gave up afternoon coffee at work for tea and I am running out
fast.

This morning I had two teas from the box pass - the first being tenuki's re-roast of Adagio #18. It was very good, but less intense than expected - you might want to brew a bit longer with this one.
One of my favorites from the box is this Iron Goddess King from New Century Tea Gallery. The color is so sparkling clear and vibrant, the aroma is lovely and the taste divine.
So my favorites so far - (I have many more samples to try)
Baozhong - Tea Masters
Iron Goddess King - New Century Tea Gallery
Dong Ding - Floating leaves Tea

The Oolong Box has landed in Chicago!
Oh my...
What Tenuki referred to as a seed is not a seed, but a whole harvest!
And the Queen of Oolong would not be outdone, never mind!
As a result the variety and quantity of teas in the box is such that I feel a little dizzy. Remember that movie Moscow on the Hudson? The scene in the supermarket where he faints? Well, it is somewhat like that.
I couldn't decide where to start. So I left everything sprawled on the dining table and went to the gym. That calmed me down, and I was able to select my first tea - Iron Goddess King from New Century Tea Gallery. Here's the verdict - YUM!

Well, I must say that I am more impressed by your skills as a reporter than a reviewer, but a totally enjoyable post. I like your reaction to chaos:
Go to gym. Very healthy.
I suppose with such abundance, you will need to keep the box
at least a month or two, maybe as much as a year.

That's my problem now. My inner voice (the one that always knows right from wrong - that one) tells me that it is majorly uncool to keep the Box longer than a week. Other people are waiting after all. But I estimate there are about 40 teas in it. I can taste 2 a day, so the math doesn't really work out. I have to figure out a system of how to keep small samples of everything, so that I can send the Box on its way in a timely manner.

Thank you all for all the notes you've been sharing. I didn't participate this time but I LOVE hearing about what everyone is drinking and what you like. Great pics too! It feels like watching people open presents on Christmas morning.

Yeah that was tough. I had sample bags waiting though. So I have about 7-10 teas that I have yet to even taste myself!! Of course I had the advantage of already trying my own tea contributions. Still I was rushed and packing everything the night before mailing up till midnight!
