Ok, confession time - I have been on a little spending binge as of late, directed mostly at teaware - These (set of two) arrived on my doorstep last night. They are JL Coquet by Limoges and they are gorgeous.

I know it looks big, but it is actually a sake cup, I am guessing about 4oz - 120ml

Tea underwent the same metamorphosis. I remember reading somewhere that it was condisdered medicinal when it was brought to Japan from China.
