that pot i was looking at, it's 75 usd.

yeah, i hate those banking transfers. fees are always involved so this pot may end up going to cost you a lot.
however, i found a guy here in toronto who has a three amazing looking pots for sale. man, they are just lovely pots. one is from 1968, you can totally tell this is an old pot, a very personal pot with inscriptions on the side of the lid, writings on the inside of the pot, the bottom of the pot and just how the pot has aged...the colour of the clay....the seller wants 200 canadian for this older pot. there are two more recent pots that are very very nice indeed in terms of feel, quality and geometry. everything about the two latter pots, the lines and evenness were just about perfect. ahhhhh, this is killing me. how am i going to buy these pots and use them without the wife knowing about them? help me out thinking of one of the greatest excuses ever!!

Now I understand how you got your screen name. You're doomed. The only way is to find something of equal value that she craves, save up enough for both things, and bribe her.heavydoom wrote: ahhhhh, this is killing me. how am i going to buy these pots and use them without the wife knowing about them? help me out thinking of one of the greatest excuses ever!!

Heavy, I would not trust anyone that does not use paypal. Paypal is essentially a universal commerce tool these days.heavydoom wrote:@ BRITT,

I completely agree with Sal - excessive indeed. But you can send a couple to me, a couple to Sal, and enjoy the remaining one in peace...Salsero wrote:And you're spreading it! Those are lovely. Set of 5 seems a little excessive, however.olivierco wrote:I think I got chataku fever

Actually, I was seriously thinking of proposing that we should start a chataku-swapping club (akin to TeaSwap). Most chataku come in sets of 5, yet I seldom want more than 2 of a kind. That's probably the case with many other folks here.
It would be great to trade chataku with other people so that we all can enjoy more chataku variety in our lives.
Olivier... I love your chataku....

Agreed, that is a great idea. I've held off buying sets several times due to only wanting 1 or 2.chamekke wrote:Actually, I was seriously thinking of proposing that we should start a chataku-swapping club (akin to TeaSwap).
