Do you have any idea of the teapots and teacups I just post?
Those are all very beautiful things in your photos. Could you say more about the statue of the man? Is he a monk? How large are the teapots? The photos make them look enormous, but I think maybe they are actually quite small judging by the cup. Where do they come from?

Oh I love Danluie's little thin man! So thin yet so happy! The teapots are very lovely too, especially the one for your da hong pao!

Ok, I got my teapots from China. 4.5 days including weekend! But actually I was forced to pay for the fast shipping. Otherwise I would rather use slower shipping and save money  And almost not surprisingly, one teapot (my favorite one!) is broken! I feel very sad to see a nice pot broken, sad more for the broken work than for my money cost (which I will try to claim back). :( :x I will post photos of the rest when I recover from mourning for the broken pot

Hey brandon did it seem like it had oil on it to you too? Also, how did you go about seasoning it?

Well, I boiled it for about 15 minutes. Then during my next few tea seasons, I poured a pot full of boiling water in and let it sit for a few minutes, poured out, repeat. Then I brewed a few rounds of 70s puerh in it. The tea was horrible by no fault of the pot, so I haven't used the pot since.

I don't recall any oil, just the usual white dust.

Ooo love the second pair, I like how it actually has the stems instead of just a flower pattern. Quite beautiful.

oli, Kofudo? Cracks me up when I see stuff on here that I almost bid on. That was the day that "be strong! be strong!" actually worked.

Ohhhhhhh I love those lidded cups. Even if they are blue. :)
A nice pair of lidded cups are definitely on my wishlist.

:D Next time before a hot spot bid ends, there should be some teachat negotiation - you buy this, I buy this, don't block each other's purchase...

I got my bodum double layer glass too! The 2 oz. kind. It's somewhat cute. But I wish it were heavier with thicker glass mass.

The light /delicate nature of those glasses are one of the good points about them. More/heavier glass would reduce the thermal insulation qualities of it.

Yes from kofudo. I got them at a good price. (20$ for the lidded chawan, 10$ for the yunomi)
