I thought that XG had made the Bao Yan Jin Cha under the FT in at least 2008 as well, if not sooner. My 08 BYJC does have the FT pressed on it, so thats interesting.

Ah... then the info I got from the seller is wrong then...
Do you have the photo of the 08 FT version of that XG mushroom?

auckw - FT melon is a totally different grade then their mushroom. Mushroom is good for Tibetan Butter Tea.

If not mistaken, FT is a grade to symbolized better quality / export quality. The recipe can differ from one product to another.
I heard about Tibetan Butter Tea, but from the sound of it, not nice to drink. Anyone tried it before? Mix butter with puerh tea?

hi tim, how do those mushroom age over time? id imagine that it would take much longer than bricks and tuos? specially those in the center?
