I absolutely LOVE wagashi! Lovely shot! I'd pay for that tea experience you pictured!

Beautiful, beautiful shots Amorphiss and Saladin!!!!!!
The wagashi looks realllly good!
btw - I've never had wagashi - what is it? I've had plenty of mochi, which I love, but never wagashi.

Sorry to have been absent for the last several days - was in Yosemite with my wife for our 1st wedding anniversary (we got married there last year).

Cheers everyone!

Here's a photo of Half Dome in Yosemite valley that I took on the evening after our anniversary dinner.

Cheers.

Wonderful Photo Seeker!

I do love Yellowstone, and want to make it out to Yosemite someday. That photo just makes me want to go even more.

Very nice matchas and chawans.

I drinks matcha at least once a day. Forgot a picture of it today, however, a picture of my tree in my garden takes its place instead ;)

Nice sunny day today 15C, but -1C at night.....

I love seeing matcha in all the different colors, but for some reason it really works with a blue/black glaze, in my eye.

I love seeing everyone's chawans. One of the things about learning pottery and making my own pieces, no matter how amateur and rough they are, is that I can still drink matcha out of them and find the experience enjoyable. This probably would not be the case if I had tried to make my own yixing. Today, I whisked up some matcha in my second piece. I positively dislike its shape, but enjoy the glaze interaction.
