I especially like the Yohei one. The handle on it is unique and that red/orange spot contrasts nicely with the color of the pot. What is your favorite thing about it?
Also the designs on the kutani pot are very cool.
+1 Tsubo, what are the sizes of those two kyusu? The Kutani piece is also very lovely!

Thanks. I think it's the rough finish that makes it look like a pumice stone when touched

Konishi's kyusu is 350 ml to the brim and 200 ml usefull
The Kutani one is smaller, with 200 ml to the brim and 100 - 150 ml usefull

So in the past I've not had much luck getting hold of/keeping a natural clay gisui pot. The first I had was stunning but I let it go to a teachat member as I bought another expensive pot at the same time and couldnt keep both. The second was the one from the group buy but unfortunately while it did function 75% of the filter holes were sealed by the spout base and choked on quite a few teas, I since found a black tea drinker to let that one go too and they love it and use it all the time without issue, but I missed the pot dearly!.
Very kindly a teachat member sold me this stunning little Gisui pot. And while a few of the holes are sealed 80% are fully working and handling sencha like a champ! Feels like christmas has come a little early for me.

Recently made this acquisition, a Shimizu Ken Nosaka back-handle. The pot has such a nice shape and feel in the hand. Very easy and comforting to hold. What really amazed me was the clay. It rounded out the sencha in a way I haven't yet experienced. The tea was even smoother to drink than from the Mumyoi and the aftertaste was prolonged in effect.

A bit of a balancing act on the last brew. Wanted to make sure I got every last drop out of the fukamushi!

These guys are now brothers. A good combination, to go back and forth between the Mumyoi and Nosaka clay.

Once again, thanks Alex and Xell for both teapot and tea, respectively.

Found this in a new shop of secondhand Japanese stuff. They weigh it then tell you the price. This was .21 kilos, so 40 baht! It has a very thin crack on the bottom that is visible both inside and out but so far it doesnt leak.

@Puerlife nice find!
I just received my first kyusu! I mostly drink Chinese teas so this is a fun new thing to try.

Lovely lines for such a bargain (especially after I checked the exchange rate!).
