Sun Dried Jingshan Green from Verdant
Anyone who enjoys the more delicate Chinese greens like Dragonwell, will love these sun-dried downy buds. The aroma of the leaves evokes lime, basil and sweet grass.
hm, might be time to get a glass gaiwan to watch this

Unnamed gunpowder green from Sichuan province. I got it from the local teahouse and I don't know any more about it than what I just said. It's very interesting because it's heavily roasted for a green. It tastes anywhere from heavy-roast-yancha-ish to more typical nutty-grassy chinese green depending on how it's brewed. Cooler water tends to bring out the nutty-grassy side, while hotter water tends to bring out the roast.

My Dad's two favorite teas are gunpowder and yunnan golden buds red tea. He drinks about a liter of gunpowder before he starts work everyday!

Wu Niu Zao, Zhejiang green tea from Norbu. Really enjoying this lovely green tea. It is clearly reminscent of Long Jing, but has a lighter fruitier flavor with less roastiness than most. Mmmm.

Hana no Kaori. This was an Uji sencha we sold earlier in the year on a limited basis with strong floral, oolong-like notes. Found some at the bottom of the tea fridge, still good!

I'm having a nice sencha I got in Chinatown at New Kam Man. I have no idea about it other than it was reasonably priced and it tastes REALLY good. I wasn't a sencha fan before, but this really got me into it.

Delicious, delicious session with O-Cha's Yutaka Midori. Which fukamushi can even compete? (and I mean this seriously, suggestions and recommendations welcome!)

Still waiting for my Zencha Kagoshima OTTI samples :(
