Try calling your local customs office and thell them they should have a package for you. That's what I did. You will have to pay 19% on purchase price + shipping.Noahnoir wrote:@stentor

Make sure to print the PayPal invoice and take it with you when you go there.

Awesome pictures, everybody?
So I'm curious if everybody's crack stains get a bit lighter at the bottom of the cup like mine? I'm assuming that's because the glaze has more thickly pooled in the bottom...

Can you send a photo. Mine didn't do that, but I have seen that happen with a lot of Ru Kiln pieces. They'll darken too with time.

Please do so on Monday! Take your tracking number from Mago with you as well as the invoice. The EMS tracking number is usually used to track/ID a package in other countries.Noahnoir wrote:i tried to call them, but i didn't reach anyone...

Re: NEW!!! HAGI SO 13 "Tempest"
Sorry this took awhile. And wouldn't you know, I drank a black tea in it before I took the photos, and the center darkened a bit. Close up, the center crackles are still a bit lighter than the rest, but it's hard to tell in the photo (pardon the flash, but the non-flash didn't contrast enough).IPT wrote:Can you send a photo. You might be able to barely see a lighter-brown in the center...

That looks like it's staining well. The light staining in the bottom is normal because that area stays wet longer, while higher up, the tea dries in the crackles quicker and more frequently, so it darkens quicker. It will all even out in the end though. That's a beautiful cup!

Beautiful crackling Drax!
I have read that it is advised NOT to allow a Hagi cup to sit with remnants of a tea in it for a prolonged period for this reason. I would think that a black tea would hasten this quite a bit.
On the other hand, I have let remnants of sencha in this cup for hours pretty many times without any darkening/staining.

Little Hagi is looking out of the window on a snowy winter day and enjoys her first cup of YM "LE".
