I made my preorders, I got a pack of Takumi and Kiwami from zencha, a shincha gyokuro and sencha Kinari (hand picked and light steamed) from maiko, my budget will only allow me for one more order, I need to decide between ocha`s Hatsumi and Yutaka Midori, and Hibiki-an`s shincha traditional, and fukamushi (I remember last year it was very good).
I've just ordered the Yame Ultimate from Zencha and the Hashiri Shincha from Den's. I had my first taste of shincha last season, and I'm pretty excited for this year's harvest.
However, I am SUPER PISSED that I forgot the cut-off to order Temomi from SA was the 15th. The blog entry only adds salt to the wound
Does anyone have any thoughts or experience on the 88 Nights tea from Kaburagien?

Bummer to hear about the Temomi cutoff. As far as the Kaburagien 88 goes, I find the concept of 88 interesting as it shows weather changes from year to year. I haven't had an 88 yet, but I ordered some from SA already, so I'm going to give this one a shot. The price of ordering the Kaburagien though is kinda high. You're paying probably EMS costs + 7% just for a 150g can. If it's like Ippodo it'll be pricey.Abracadaver! wrote:I've just ordered the Yame Ultimate from Zencha and the Hashiri Shincha from Den's. All their other sencha slowwwwly transition to the newer harvest in late summer to early fall.
