This oolong topic keeps going to sleep for days at a time, despite all the great oolong being consumed by teaChatters!

Today, opened up a package of Mao Xie from Jing Tea Shop, but unfortunately had to rush the first brewing session to make a meeting, and it was delicious, but ultimately a little thin, all my fault. Fruity, floral, delightful, but tomorrow will have to make up for that with a richer brew.

This evening, enjoying a luxurious session with a gaiwan full of Hawaiian oolong. Rich, sweet, fruity, tart, my oh my oh my, still as amazing as the first time I brewed a sample from a teaSwap. Mmm.

Today the 2011 version of WanLingTeaHouse's Jiu Jiu Jiu Tie Guan Yin arrived, and I'm happy to say that from my first impression, it seems to be as good as last year's

Hi Nenugal, I´m planing on doing an order from Wanling and buy their oolong tea samples, rou gui, lao cong and some earl gray but I don´t know if they are good.

Are there any other interesting teas to buy? what about their darjelling? I have never tried this type of tea but I dont want to spend so much in this tea buying directly from India and I had though to add some from wanling to try. Thank you.

I had some first flush Giddapahar last year from them that was quite good, but I have very little experience with Darjeeling tea so I can't compare it to offerings of other vendors. I also had some of their 2010 Chinese green Tai Ping Hou Kui 'Jin Pin', that was great. And of the TGYs I had from them last year, even the cheapest ones were good and the more expensive ones like Jiu Jiu Jiu were among the best TGYs I've tried.

Get plenty of 'Jiu Jiu Jiu' - it is excellent!
In my opinion, better than their top of the range TGY.

Mao Xie from Jing Tea Shop, a packet that waited a long time to be opened, but the tea is delicious and spicy despite my delay.

Aged Wu Yi. Thats all it says on the bag. It's good. I'm fairly certain its a SX.

Ah, sweet return to one of my favorite oolongs. I just made myself a cup of Ti Kwan Yin.

Trying to use up some of my sample packages from Adagio:

This morning finished up the Wuyi Ensemble (used a pot to brew 2x)
this afternoon in gaiwan I used the rest of the Pouchong.
