I fianlly was able to finish going through the box! I organized it a bit while I was at it and replaced plastic shopping bag filled with newspaper with recycled airbag things which were a lot bigger than those tiny ones (which are going into the plastic bag recycling). *insert sigh of relief*
I have an interesting idea for the box though, how about signing the inside or something and the state that it went to.

yeeeeeeeeee! Here it comes! Depending on my health I am hoping to take the box to be photographed at the Texas State Capitol Building....but I will figure out something else if that can't be done.

So, what were your faves Lady?

Definatly Czar Nicholas! I didn't try all of them but I did put just enough in plastic baggies to try later.
It's heading out tomorrow! I'll PM the tracking number to you then.

And it is off!!!!
The box also got a mini makeover  And got organized! (the sample tins are in one of the smaller boxes and the bigger tins are outside)
I put in the box:
Russian Caravan from Upton
Green peoke from Adagio
Yunnan Jig from Adagio
Cocomint green from Adagio
Coconut black from Adagio
Added some more Den's Cold Brew Iced Tea bags
I might be forgetting something...

It Has Arrived!

by Aphroditea » Jul 14th, '08, 15:21

1)There is A LOT of tea!
2)It all smells so fab!

There are sorta three boxes, the big box which contains a handful of teas and two smaller boxes (one of just pu!) I also discovered one of my blends in the box.

As my health is not all up to snuff today, the best I have been able to do is do a rough sort and make my first cuppa, Harney and Sons Paris. Lovely smelling :)

Tomorrow I will do a proper sort and try to get a pic. Hopefully I can get a ride to the capitol of a photo as well (since I am no longer allowed to drive myself).

I will keep you updated as I can! :D :D :D

That H&S Paris certainly is a tempting blend. It's my standard 'gift' tea when I'm trying to convert someone who doesn't generally drink tea. Very high success rate.

Looks like I am next on the list. I have a LOT of tea to get rid of, so I look forward to this. I'm sure I will put in more than I take out.

If it is the wedding cake tea, I'm pretty sure that was me (it's been a while, though!). I tried to add some of my favs along with ones that didn't float my boat and the wedding cake is SOOO good. It needed sharing. :D

Good question.

First question is whether Eastree would like start/host/sponsor round 2 and if yes, when. Stay tuned. He did an excellent job with round one and brought a new and exciting program to TeaChat.
