Could you detail what type of tea do you use them for?

from left to right:

cooked puer, green puerh, green oolongs, aged or roasted oolongs, green oolongs.

that isn't real strict though, I often use either of the puerh pots for yancha, or stronger oolongs if they need moderating. the two green oolong pots can also be used for baozhong ( the flat lid one is my favorite for that). I'm always experimenting. I don't belong to the one pot per type of tea school, I'm more into figuring out what a pot does to tea and matching the right pot up with the tea. I do however tend to keep my green oolong pots only for green oolongs.

What a beautiful family! Is the one in the back right my huang ni pot from Yunnan Sourcing? I'm ordering your baozhong pot from Stéphane. They are all beauties. Nice selection and they look like my perfect size. Where do they all come from?

From left to right:

Stephane (TeaMasters), Shiuwen (FLT), Stephane, ??? (I ordered some of those from YSLLC, but those were different, gave them all away, I got this a while back, don't remember sorry, might have been from funalliance?), local shop - off the back desk, it was being used by owner but I talked her into selling it to me.

I just gave 3 YiXings away, 1 to the box pass, one to Victoria and the other to my inlaws. I'm looking at 1 more from NCTG maybe for puerh, depends on how it brews next time I'm in. Certainly nice to try pots out first.

 They're tiny! Very cute, but tiny!

Ok Ok, here Tenuki has motivated to show my teapot family. These are the pots that I use most frequently. I have others, however, they don't recieve as much love as these.

From left to right they are smallest to largest with the larges being 180ml.
Yeah, i know.. crappy pic.

Very nice, diverse selection of quality Yixings. I especially like the red one which I think you said you use for lighter oolongs.

Yes, I believe the chocolate brown pear shaped one is 12cl due to the fat bottom, and it is the largest one I have. There is a saying 'the smaller the pot, the better the tea'. I've found that to be generally true. :)

Thanks. Yup, that red one is my favorite for Gao Shan. It is harder clay, thinner walled, but still keeps the heat on ok. It seems to bring out the body, mouth feel and sweetness yet still preserve a lot of the the aroma. It's also my most highly seasoned pot, I bought it used off of a local tea shop owners desk, she cleared out her leaves and let me test the pour and brew a green oolong in it. The patina on it is quite pleasing and clearly natural ( a lot of patinas are sprayed on... ).

You can see more of that pot here in case you missed those pics.
