Thanks for the info, Pentox. I have been wondering about that for a long time. Is it the same for Chinese/Taiwanese wares as well?

Excellent Christmas gifts! That table is especially impressive! I have the same little pot you have for oolongs, and I use it for yancha with surprising success even though it's walls are slightly thinner than I'd hoped.

Darwin and Andy, are your tea tables from dragon tea house, the sandalwood? They look great!

We ordered the table from Tea Needs, but the exact same one is available from Dragon Tea House for the same price. Since Tea Needs is located in the US, my husband was hoping the shipping time would be less that if he ordered from DTH, but the table shipped from China anyway, so it worked out the same. Thanks for the kind words, off to make the morning tea!

i got my tea table in china, its really heavy...
but i do think that its the same as dragon tea house and yunnan sourcing, just has different color.

mine did get a crack on the joints... it does leak only when the tube gets stuck with tea leaves and water doesnt flow out of the tube down to the drain, otherwise its ok... ive been using it for 3 years now.

Now I need a nice teapot for these cups and a small Yixing pot for my light oolongs... :D

I bought it from TeaSpring and it was listed as a gaiwan there. Didn't know it was called gaibei :?

You need to buy two of these cup sets from Tevana and split the set with someone else.
Heh.

Yeah, but it's not made by them.
They have some nice teaware.
