Some photos of the one I've named Frosting.
The weirdest thing is the size of the cracks on the inside. They are in giant patches in most places, and some of them even seem to dead end.

Wow, now that's different... it'll be neat to see if they "fill in" with more time.

Woah...! That's really amazing. I've been using mine a fair amount, but it's still pretty random on the inside. It was definitely a loooooot** slower than the Tempest...

That dead-ending is crazy! I love the contrast in crackle size... my own Tempest vs. some other pieces is kind of awesome.

Guinomi by Deishi.
Testing it with o-cha's kabusecha (the "inorganic" one).

Indeed, I just had to update my "How many Hagi are enough" poll option

Incredible guinomi, Nenugal! Looks rather "large" for a guinomi?!
Reminds me that I need to get some Deishi! I love his stuff but never get around to buying any of it. Probably because you snatch all the good ones
You seem to have quite a nice collection!

Thank you very much, Stentor! This is my 7th Hagi; it was the beautiful Hagi SO Tempest got me started
I should take a Hagi family picture one day...
This one is 7 cm (2.75'') wide and 5 cm (1.96'') tall, just big enough for a full 150 ml kyusu with lots of leaf, I would guess around 90 ml. I'm thinking it would be really amazing (and probably completely out of my prize range) in chawan size!

Love the biwa.
Mine is always in heavy rotation.
Is it a leaker?

Thank you!
I can't say for sure about leaking since I've only used it a couple of times after it arrived today, but at least I didn't notice any leak so far.

It's starting to crackle very nicely

Yes, the Tempest seemed to show immediate crackling with the very first steeps, but then really slowed down ... seems to me.
This one has seen sencha only. After many many steeps, I noticed the crackles are now darkening, though does not really show up here. Very few on the outside.
