"Mountain climbing specialist" for me - it's just tea and I brew it.

Japanese Black for me again to start the day. This one
is really becoming a favorite.

Have a nice day everyone!

I think I'm going to have to go with "Sprinter."
While I might not do the ceremony, I do employ the gongfu method of short steeps at least once a day, and that's usually the way I try a new tea. The other night my friend and his girlfriend were over, and they were about ready to leave since the movie had ended, and I said "Wait just 50 seconds, we can have one more cup before you go."
My friend was all for it, his girlfriend didn't look to pleased. lol

This morning - Sencha from Adagio. I like it.

Drax, you're brave! I opened that tin, smelled the tea and decided I didn't need a sample of that one! :) So far I've only had time to try the Five Sweetheart Oolong, I'm looking forward to vacation next week so I can try some of the others.

Time Trialist. This suits me in many aspects beyond tea ... and bicycling. Precision meets art here. Not liking to rely on others.

Began the TD with a Gyokuro blend of Den's Suimei and Sal's "magic leaf." I think I have enough magic leaf for one more session. I will really miss it when it is gone. Never had another gyokuro like it. SweeTea would agree while Wulong, Ceylon, Pyrit, and Lili could not care less but were present at the TeaTable anyway.
blah blah blah SENCHA blah blah blah!!!

After a hasty cup of Royal Blend this turned out to be an oolong day, some TGY to go with my lunch and after, now some baozhong which turned out to have a lovely lily-like scent and elements of sugar in the taste. Quite fab.

spot52 - that tea in the gaiwan certainly looks delicious

I would say, "no tea too tough to brew" but that's only because I'll go for it, no matter what. Couldn't possibly say that everybody (even I) would love the outcome!

That said, today I am brewing a tea I'd defy anyone to mess up. It's impossible. Just right for today: "Yunnan Black Gold" from Tillerman Teas

Haha, yeah, I haven't had too many flavored oolongs, so I thought I'd take the plunge on a few of them. That one... definitely not for me. :D

"Just say no" to flavored oolongs!! Sorry but no.
Not to mention they are not representative of oolong
flavor, and are usually made from lesser teas.

In my cup this afternoon - CS Baozhong.

Agree with the sentiment 'just say no to flavored oolongs'... with a few exceptions (better quality jasmine oolong is an example). I'll be adding an almond blossom oolong to the box, because it's one of the few oolongs with a better base and no idiot bits of almond, just scented with flowers.

Fixing a broken kyusuu? Might want to query for ideas in the teaware section here, before launching your project, MasalaChai.

"the other "untainted"
The brits have a better term, 'doctored'. Hehehe.

Four Seasons Nantou in my cup.

both hehehehehehehehe jk, I know how to fix it, Its not that bad. I just can't take the lid off without burning my hands, which I could deal with... I tinker so much, always taking things apart and never putting them back together hahahaha(like guitars, headphones, miscellaneous electronic devices) until now! I need green. This is the pot btw http://www.o-cha.com/greenteateapot.html Just the "knob" on top broke.

Intuit!
I already plan on getting a new one, once I get some moolaa haha. So I am just messing around. Indeed I love my "doctored" tea haha.

Brewing more FF darjeeling :) Really like it.
