French countryside, with a picnic spread out on a blanket and of course lots of tea!
Irish Breakfast again this morning. I think it's time to mix things up a bit - I seem to be in a rut!
I love Barcelona (had to sadly turn down an invite to go this summer) but for some bizarre reason I'm in a Champs Elysees kind of mood. Don't ask me why. So elegant, so everything.
Today yet more Ruby Black tea from Tillerman Teas. I think I am truly addicted. The flavor/scent is a presence in my brain before I've had a cup. wow.

Champs-Élysées for me. Paris is just fabulous. And besides I can take some side trips to perfumeries. The excitement of Paris is hard to beat.
But I hope I am enjoying the view from above the street, on my private balcony.

Again Koucha to start the day. Now AliShan from CS.

One of the unique aspects of a bicycle race, you are able to get very close to the competitors. And when they are climbing the mountains, the fans go bonkers as the cyclists go by. Somehow the cyclists are able to focus focus focus. It is often on the verge of chaos.
Ok, Fence, more shincha for me too. Kinari from TokyoB ... from Maiko. All gone, but quite enjoyable shincha.

Sign me up!
I'll take my tea in the French Countryside, but reserve a place for me at your cafe on the Champs-Élysées, for fine champagne!
Make it Krug, sir!
A fine TKY in my cup, not the champagne of oolongs, but not too shabby.

Nothing in my cup, waiting for the water to boil to make iced tea.

Pyrenees, hands down. The French countryside is pretty beguiling, but give me mountains any day. (Even though I grew up on the shores of Lake Michigan, I'm the token mountain guy in a family full of beach people. A bit lonely sometimes, but you can't beat the view.)
Great Tour stage today, n'est-ce pas?
Gyokuro earlier in the day (Den's Suimei); I feel some oolong coming on any minute...
