Each day is simply different. Each day has its own unique set of circumstances that shade our perceptions.

As I experiment the enjoyment increases for me.

Right now I'm on the third infusion of a nice oolong that I picked up from a local tea room. It is thundering outside this morning and long awaited summer rains have just now arrived to revive the browning grass. It's a good day for tea.

Always getting better. Just finishing off what I brewed before bed last night. Iced blood orange with a pinch of peppermint. Next will be my last pot of YM from O-cha. I am seriously bummed. :(

Tea is always great. Environment and more relaxed circumstances always
can make it better.

And I am seriously tempted to grab Victoria's gorgeous and marked-down Dragon Fly kyuusu to add to my larger pots. Please, someone else buy it quick: I am a weak and spineless person.
Thanks Sal, you're a great ad man!! Your commission is forthcoming.

My tea brewing skills can always be improved upon, and as they get better, so does the tea I drink.

Adagio AliShan from the oolong box in my cup this morning.

In general, TDs get better and better, but there are the little ups and downs along the way. But generally up.

Watching the Tour de France, woot.

TD began with Yutaka Midori from O-Cha. Great stuff as always.

Next up, Adagio Fujian Baroque, also great stuff.

Better, better and better

Today I am yet again drinking the lovely Ruby Black from Tillerman Teas - but that's because my new experiences of it are better. I find more in the tea, more to appreciate and to savor about it. For me, I like to get to know the tea very well and brew quite a bit to "understand" it

Plus, I'm going to a tea tasting today and looking forward to it! So yes, better and better :-) Part of that better is also letting go of nonsense I find extraneous to my enjoyment as well - nothing is written in stone, much as some would like to portray it so. You lose the moment and movement and you lose an essential ingredient for tea, in my opinion

So sorry to learn of your child's disability, Spot 52. Hopefully with patience and persistence he will be able to live a normal life. I also have a child who sometimes seems not to have his head screwed on right.

This is a 100% mania driven enterprise.

Looks like this night shift I'm on right now will be a tad depressing; not only did I forget my keycard, RSA thingy, 'food coupons' and keycard for the kitchen fridge/freezer, I also left my tea at home!

No Yunnan, no pu, no nothing fot the next ten or eleven hours. I'm going to be a wreck!

You should! It was only because of Sal's post that I first noticed your kyuusu on sale

Weird, all of a sudden our preemptive spambot blockers are not effective. Easily 50-60 spam posts since yesterday. These are the black and white variety, so it is a no brainer for me to deal with, but still odd.

If anyone sees one within an existing topic or one that I seem to be missing, please PM me. Fortunately and generally, spambots/spammers will create a new topic and are easy for me to find. Also, please do not reply to these spam topics.

Thank you,
Chip
