Sigh.... I made a quick trip home from work over lunch to check and see if my Hagi is here. No such luck.
I checked my EMS tracking and the package arrived to Chicago 2 days ago... no updates on its status since 8am yesterday morning, which is rather frustrating. It just said "Departure from Inward Office of Exchange" as its location in Chicago.
I know, I am whining and impatient... it was so fast last time.

Ooh, so sorry Sarah, when I saw that you posted, I was looking so forward to seeing your pics!
However, I myself am currently going through a severe case of
'Hagi Withdrawal' and alas will have to wait way longer than you to be over it!

Seriously, can't wait to see what everyone has received this time.

OOOh I know your addy
All I need is a teleporter, 'cuz I'll never get there berfore you.

“Take some more tea,” the March Hare said to Alice, very earnestly.
“I’ve had nothing yet,” Alice replied in an offended tone: “so I ca’n’t take more.”
“You mean you ca’n’t take less,” said the Hatter: “it’s very easy to take more than nothing.”

Nice set...very nice. The yuzamashi is a lot bigger than I thought it would be. It's about twice the size of the houhin. That's okay because now it can do double duty with my other Hagiyaki when I make sencha.

Plus as I learned with my other Hagi yuzamashi, you don't want to fill it all the way, it gets too hot. I plan on using my other one with this set.

OK now it shows they attempted to deliver while I was at work this afternoon. I had no "Sorry we missed you" note on my door or in my mailbox which is frustrating... because now I don't know if they are holding it at the post office or if they will try to deliver it again tomorrow. Of course, I will be working all day tomorrow so I will miss them again. I wonder if I leave an alternative delivery address taped to my door... maybe they would bring it to me to work?

LOL! apparently mine was delivered to the suite next door since I wasn't in. Except nobody left a pick-up tag so that I would know it was there. So here I am home again jiggity jig, and no package until tomorrow when they open for business again.

Not to beat you to it Geek, I'm sure you will post a beautiful glamor shot to make these little sweeties look their best! But they are so sweet I couldn't resist! I am very glad they matched exactly with two cups I already had. Perfect!

I know my pics are pretty bad, but are you all just hatin' or what?
Or am I the first to get my set?

Nice gyokuro pieces! What's not to like, they look awesome. Thanks for sharing them with us.
I think the lack of response is due to the new forum issues, I noticed less posting overall. Plus there seemed to be problems posting pics and still might be in some forums I have heard.
I gave mine up for others since the demand was so high and am now waiting for the reorder to come in. Hopefully within another week!

At last, I got them! Pics to follow if I can find my camera. Wishing now I had some really primo gyokuro to christen them with, but the cheap stuff I got in Epcot will have to suffice.
