I voted more than 60. I try to use everything, but some things I didn't realize I wouldn't want/need to use often until I actually got it. I also seem to keep going back to my gaiwan when it's just me.
So I've decided to not buy more teaware for a while ( gaiwans are excluded from this rule :) ) and that leaves more tea budget for TEA!

My only purchases were for fine English china, not intended for daily use, and a couple of gaiwans and mugs. The latter are used frequently.

Have been pulling out Yixing teapots and Japanese/Korean cups to put into use, purchases made years ago. As is the case with others, a few of my yixing pots are the decorative types, but others that I thought too small for everyday use are proving to be wise buys, in hindsight.

I want to hear about Victoria's Japanese Black tea.

No-name Ceylon estate in my cup, for starters.

I am at 60-70%. Things that are replaced and subsequently retired, I try to find a new home for.

I might have lied. I do have "inherited" some teaware that I haven't gotten around to using yet, but it's in a box somewhere and I don't feel the need to haul twenty pounds of porcelain from the attic.

I can safely say that I use all of my teaware. I have rotation and I'm a bit OCD about it :D

I'm at around 90%. I try to use most of it, but I certainly have pieces that I use more often than others. While trying to put away a tea order yesterday, I noticed that my teaware collection is bigger than I realized. There's an English-style pot, 3 kyusu (one's broken, and I'm awaiting its replacement), a gaiwan, 5 yunomi of differing sizes and designs, and a creamer-cum-faircup, plus various other little tea-related items. I don't really use two of my pots, either.

Woke up with a cup of SpecialTeas' East Friesian Blend this morning.

They were about 200 ml -250 ml. I think right now all the yixing teapots I use are about 100-120 ml. I think the largest yixing I would consider buying would be 130 ml. Anything larger than that would not make the cut, no matter how gorgeous it is artistically.

I'm using some teaware I purchased in the past year, but oddly enough I'm also re-cycling teaware for brewing that I bought long ago that wasn't meant for the teas I'm drinking today.

Today I'm "re-cycling" by digging out some Imperial Yunnan Gold tea from Imperial Tea Court that I have had stored for about a year. It's a really ripe robust tea - lots of gold tips, frothy and bubbly with that Yunnan plant oils from the deep roots, a very full cup of flavors. But something new after time: after I've drained the leaves, and they sit in the pot. lift the lid and a really fragrant fruit essence comes to the nose, like a raisin-y, cherry-like syprup... don't know if storage has anything to do with it but it's possible that just a drop in astringency over time will do this I guess - Never noticed that scent before though, stunning

100% I don't see any reason in buying more than what I can use. I have a kyusu, 4 tea cups, chawan, matcha gear, and porcelain pot. Gets the job done!

Just had some FF darjeeling, about to have another infusion of it. Then some greeny green green after!

Still unsure about this one, but one thing, all 4 I have tried are quite similar.

I got off the bus from work a couple stops before mine today, partly because the bus was too hot and too full of tourists for my taste(nothing wrong with them per se but a bus tightly packed with people with barely room to stand is not fun when you're prone to car sickness :? ) and partly because I wanted to look for Bodum Pavina cups at a store along the way from work.

No Pavina cups but I seemed to find things that could be used as tea bowls everywhere :o Some were really beautiful and I would have bought one if not for the fact I have promised myself to refrain from buying more teaware....this week. :D

Had a big cup of Halmari Golden Tippy when I got home and right now I'm trying to decide which tea to go for next.

Hi Victoria, hope you enjoy it, but perhaps it's not your cuppa. I find a really good steeping is my preference. This one can take it (I know, I forgot about it)

Indian white tea in my cup. Casting about for more matcha to purchase; haven't used my chawan in a bit. This thread reminded me remedy that deficit.
