Good TD everyone.
I created the list based on personal experience, and have likely had all of those at one time or another. Hard to pick just one right now, but I do habitually drink instead of eating. Then all of a sudden I am all shakey and quick shove any food in my mouth.
Began the TD with Takumi from Zencha. Yummm. Moved onto Gyokuro from Maeda-en with DW. Currently enjoying a tasting of Kunpu from Den's.
Yeah, a great TD.

I have a very bad habit of gulping down tea like it was the last drink I'm ever going to get.
For example, tonight I will gulp down Yunnan golden tips.

Ended my TeaDay with a reinforcement of my bad habit, about 20oz of
Pomelo Oolong from Camellia Sinensis, on ice, much too late in the day.

It's 11:00 pm here, and I just brewed up some sencha. So I voted for drinking tea to late. Pleasant dreams?

Even though I have several timers, I often forget to set one, ending up with oversteeped tea.
Only one tea today: Adagio's Irish Breakfast. This evening steeped the leaves a 2nd and 3rd time, adding a pinch of mint and lavender, and served it on ice to overnight house guests - good flavor with greatly reduced caffeine.
Like Drax, I've been enjoying kombucha. This hot weather is brewing it very quickly (ready to bottle every 3-4 days), so I'm drinking a lot of it. At this rate, I'll have a huge addiction to it and will go through withdrawals when the brewer slows down for colder seasons.

Wow, I was on the verge of having two bad tea habits at the same time: drinking too late and over-steeping. I was brewing some organic Uji Sencha from O-Cha, and I thought I would do some GRE math sets during that 1.5 minutes. When I looked at my timer I had over-brewed for like 10 seconds. Really close to messing up a very fine tea

I've taken to using my digital watch to time my steeping and I've only had the occasional lapse.
Yep! This is EXACTLY my problem. I have a countdown timer on my cellphone, so now I get a nice loud BEEP when it's ready. So my over-steeping has definitely been happening less often... Though lately, I've noticed I'll start salivating when I hear digital beeps, I wonder what's going on...

I would have chosen "all of the above" or maybe "none of the above"...I don't know if I have bad habits, since I have nothing to compare to and I keep changing my own rules!
On Sunday, I spent a lot of quality time on my back deck with my DH and some great iced Ceylon!
Happy Sipping,
Dreamer
