My musical talent is limited to singing in the car! My oldest daughter plays the piano, trumpet, drums, saxophone, and guitar (she taught herself to play the last two) and played in regular and jazz band in school, so I guess she got the big talent in the family.

No "real" tea yet, just iced Red Rose, but am getting ready to change that!

Sal, I can't get the frog chorus to play!

Mmmm, in Firefox I just click on The Frogs link, am directed to the "Plunder" website and hear frogs immediately. I tried it in IE and I had to run some sort of media extension file or something before it would play.

In any event, you aren't missing much even if you never get it to play! It's really just frogs.

I can sing without making dogs howl, but that's about it for my musical ability.

Darjeeling No. 22 today, to wake me up enough to get to the gym.

Hmm, maybe that's why I'm so fond of greens
Hmmm, somehow I pictured you banging a BIG Japanese Taiko (drum)along with enjoying those Japanese greens.

Speaking of Japanese green, Zencha Sencha the Ultimate is "bangin'" right now with Mrs. C.

Off to a wedding, and I have a feeling I will be the only person asking for hot water for his BYO"B" (O-Cha Uji teabag). This wedding is with a crowd that always offers a bit of culture shock anyway ... just don't know who is more shocked.

I just tried again and it worked fine. Computer glitch, I guess.

"The Frogs" reminds me of summer nights in Connecticut. Our neighbors had a pond and I would go to sleep to frog songs every night!

I'm quite musically inclined, I DJ each week on an industrial / goth internet radio station and also compose my own industrial noize music. I have almost no formal musical education I pretty much learned everything as I went.

I do have a deeply neglected myspace page with a few of my songs uploaded, though I pretty much abandoned it when I couldn't get my page edits to stick.

But if you're curious to hear my music it's a decent enough way to share I suppose.

It is Industrial Noize, don't expect easy listening. 8)

How odd. I'd replied to this thread this morning. No post now...and not the first time this has happened.

Anyhoo.

I'm very musical--can play several instruments, can play by ear, can sing in tune, have an eclectic music collection.

Yunnan Gold in the pot this morning, iced black tea (Luzianne) for lunch.

Riene, that's happened to me also. But I thought I read your post this morning?

OK, Riene and Geeber, sigh, I will continue to diligently report "new version" issues to the powers that be. This is the first I have heard of posts disappearing completely. Do I sound a bit frustrated? :x

Speaking of "music" ... the wedding music was pretty much as expected ... a lot of Motown to modern rap. But the O-Cha Uji teabag was good.

I dunno, kind fun playing 'find the hidden Easter eggs here (missing message delete button revealed by hitting the tab key or by passing mouse pointer over invisible 'edit post' button in thread replies).

Roasted Kukicha to finish out my day. Sitting here in front of my computer with a flock of noisome gnats buzzing overhead, due to an mucked up door weatherstrip replacement project that took far longer than it should have. *eyes rolling*

I play piano, cello, trombone, guitar, bass and happily hack on any other instrument that might be available. I do sing, used to sing quartet in high school and have played in jazz, punk, altabilly and experimental noise bands.

What does this have to do with tea? I guess I drink tea when I play..

Thanks for letting me know this. :D I thought I'd posted right after Woozl yesterday, was really surprised to not find the post--good to know I'm not hallucinating.

Chip, it's happened a couple times before, but I thought I'd just messed something up--clicked on "save draft" or did something weird. I haven't mentioned it before because I thought I was screwing it up.

Love that tea and piano photo, Tenuki. I'd happily have that as a poster in my room.

I play the Celtic Harp and Native American Flute, but only marginally. So I put the middle one down.
